Pierre Hardy and Mathias Kiss reinvent the iconic Slidor Sneakers exclusively for 24 Sèvres and Le Bon Marché.
Pierre Hardy entrusted his iconic sneakers to Mathias Kiss, who completely covered the sole with gold leaf. Guided by contemporary experimentation, the artist wanted literally people to walk on gold. Following a refined line, wide black elastic takes the place of shoelaces, thus preserving the extreme simplification of the structure. Created in a limited edition of 25 pairs, these Slidor are the ideal collaboration between an art lover and an artist passionate about experimentation.
The guest designer: Mathias Kiss, a former Compagnon de France, builds his work around timeless style references and architectural interpretation of contemporary art.
