For the Summer 2018 Atelier, Pierre Hardy imagines a vibrant and playful collection built around two themes, swathes and silk. Genuine guideline to the collection, colour brings out volumes and shapes throughout the models.

Summery, luminous and joyful, this supposedly straightforward collection unveils its sophistication and its graphic effects by the subtlety of the details: matching apparent and inner lining, cutworks and asymmetrical « trompe l’oeil » distinctively adorn every sandal and mule, only models of the line.

Called « Gallery », this pictorial collection refers to one of Pierre Hardy’s esthetical obsessions: the American minimalist abstraction represented among others by the artists Sol LeWitt and Ellsworth Kelly. The showroom becomes an art gallery, with its swathes of colours on the ground and monochromatic colours along the walls.
